Crown Cement

  • Some sensitivity is normal following the permanent crown cement appointment. It should wear off overtime, but if the sensitivity becomes worse, please call our office. Occasionally after the crown is cemented, the tooth can become aggravated and the nerve can get inflamed. In this case we may need to send you to an endodontist for a possible root canal.
  • For 24 hours after the crown cement, do not eat any sticky foods or floss the tooth. After that you may eat and floss like normal.
  • If your bite feels off after your appointment, please give our office a call and we can adjust the crown.
