Wisdom Tooth Extraction
 Wisdom teeth start forming in the jaw around age 8 or 9 and they begin to erupt anywhere between ages 17 and 22. Some lucky people have wisdom teeth that emerge and perfectly line up with the teeth next to them. However, most of these teeth are hopelessly impacted because the jaw length does not grow enough to accommodate them or the other teeth are too crowded, leaving no room for them to erupt. Impacted wisdom teeth look like they are growing sideways in the jaw. If left in the jaw at a sideways position or partially erupted state they can cause problems that are sometimes severe.
Impacted wisdom teeth may lead to:
