Community OutreachAn essential part of who we are is our devotion to children in need. As a team, we seek out and provide reassuring and loving dental care for underprivileged children within the Sacramento area and beyond, including the following: WIND Youth Services, Mustard Seed School for homeless children, Convey of Hope, Fairytale Town benefits, Give Kids A Smile, Make A Wish Foundation, and on dental mission trips to the Philippians, Peru, and Guatemala. Dr. Cindy Weideman has won national, state, and local dental society awards for her dedication to children’s dental services. As a commissioner of First 5 of Sacramento, she was instrumental in opening six Sacramento state-of- the-art federally subsidized pediatric dental clinics for underprivileged children. Tooth Fairy VisitsWe have developed various entertaining presentations for children and parents. The Tooth Fairy presentation is designed for preschool, kindergarten, and daycare classrooms. We teach the importance of baby teeth, brushing and flossing techniques, and why regular dental check-ups are important.
