Dr. Deanna Guillory
Education & Experience
Dr. Deanna Guillory's passion for dentistry comes from personal experience. Growing up with a severe underbite, she spent years in orthodontic treatment and ultimately underwent corrective jaw surgery during her senior year of high school. The transformation it made in her confidence and smile inspired her to pursue a career helping others experience the same life-changing results.
Originally born in New York and raised in California, Dr. Deanna grew up in a close-knit family with strong Korean roots. With her parents immigrating from South Korea, she was immersed in Korean culture and traditions from an early age, shaping her appreciation for family, connection, and community.
Dr. Deanna graduated from Granite Bay High School before earning her degree in Biological Sciences from UC Davis. She went on to graduate with honors from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Davis, California.
She loves the hands-on nature of dentistry and finds great fulfillment in helping patients feel more confident about their smiles. Whether she's restoring dental health, improving aesthetics, or helping patients overcome anxiety about dental care, Dr. Deanna is committed to creating positive experiences and lasting relationships with the families she serves.
Outside of the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Deanna enjoys reading, gardening, baking, and spending time with her husband. She also runs a creative Etsy shop where she designs and sells crocheted plants and coasters. In fact, her love of baking is so strong that she even made her own wedding cake.
Dr. Deanna is excited to be part of the Smile Island family and looks forward to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles.
